What it can answer
- Workers: induction, training, documents and today's attendance. "Who hasn't completed their induction?"
- Training expiry: what's expired or expiring, over any period up to a year. "What tickets expire in the next 60 days?"
- Today's attendance: who is signed in, signed out or not in, and where. "Who's on the Sandyford site right now?"
- Documents: how many people have read or signed each one. "Which documents still need signatures?"
- Subcontractors: crew sizes and paperwork status (administrators only). "Which subcontractors are missing paperwork?"
- Sites: the list of your sites.
It answers only from your records and is instructed never to make up names, dates or statuses. If it can't find something, it says so. It doesn't yet cover incidents, permits, inspections or actions.
What it can't do
- Change anything: it can't add, edit or delete records, send emails, or sign anyone in or out.
- See another company's data. It only ever looks at your own company.
- See more than the person asking. A site manager's assistant only sees their own sites.
Turning it on
The assistant is off by default. One of your administrators can turn it on or off at any time under Settings. While it's off, nothing is sent to the AI provider.
What data it uses, and where it goes
When someone asks a question, the question and the records needed to answer it (for example, names with their training or attendance status) are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, in the United States. Anthropic is listed on our sub-processors page.
Your data is not used to train AI models. The conversation is kept only while the person asking is logged in, and is cleared when they log out or start a new conversation.
