About these terms
Shamrock Comply is provided by Shamrock Safety Ltd, registered in Ireland (company number 754113). Your employer or the company running your site has its own agreement with us for the service itself. These terms cover how you use it. By setting up your account or signing in, you agree to them.
Your account
- Your account is for you alone. Don't share your password or kiosk PIN, and don't let anyone else use your account or your phone to sign in.
- If you think someone else knows your password or PIN, change it and tell your employer straight away.
- If you set up Face ID or a fingerprint, only use your own.
- If you work for more than one company that uses Shamrock Comply, you use the same login for each. Choose the right company when you sign in.
Signing in and out
- Only sign yourself in and out, and only when you are actually arriving at or leaving the site.
- Never sign in for someone else, or ask someone to sign in for you.
- Don't try to fool the location check, the site QR code or the kiosk photo.
- Sign out when you leave. The evacuation roll call relies on the list of who is on site being right.
- A sign-in made with no signal is sent when your phone is back online, and can only be sent for 20 hours. Don't log out while something is waiting to be sent.
- If you have a QR badge, keep it safe like a PIN and tell your employer straight away if you lose it, so they can cancel it.
What you add
- Make sure what you enter is true and accurate, including incident reports, inspection answers and signatures.
- Only upload your own, genuine certificates.
- Only include other people's personal details where they are needed for the record, for example someone involved in an incident.
- Don't upload anything offensive, unlawful or harmful, or anything containing viruses or other harmful code.
What you must not do
- Try to see information you haven't been given access to, including other people's or other companies' records.
- Try to break, overload or get around the system's security. If you find a problem, report it instead: see our security page.
- Copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the system.
- Use it for anything other than site safety and compliance.
Emergencies
Shamrock Comply supports your site's emergency procedures but doesn't replace them. In an emergency, follow the instructions of the people in charge on site. The roll call is only as good as the sign-ins, and sites should keep a backup plan in case phones or the internet aren't available.
Availability
We work hard to keep Shamrock Comply running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. See service and support.
Losing access
Your employer can remove your access at any time, for example when you leave. Your employer or we can suspend access if these terms are broken or to protect the system and the people using it.
Your information
How your information is handled is explained in the privacy notice for workers and visitors.
Responsibility
Our responsibilities for the service are set out in our agreement with the company that runs your site. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have by law where you live.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms; if we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let companies know so they can tell their people. These terms are governed by Irish law. Questions: info@shamrockehs.com.
